Biovac® treatment systems are an environmentally friendly solution for the treatment of sewage from houses and cottages. The technology used is based on a natural, biological treatment process.

The process used in Biovac sewage treatment systems uses familiar SBR technology with the 'active sludge' method. Sewage contains natural bacteria and micro-organisms which are used in the treatment process. Controlled addition of oxygen achieves a natural biological process which breaks down the contamination in the water. A small amount of chemicals is added to the treatment process to remove any remaining phosphorus before the cleaned waste water is emitted.

We have divided the Biovac® treatment systems into two main categories: mini sewage treatment systems (5-35 people) and larger sewage treatment systems (45-5000< people).
